Born in Canada, yet I grew up in the United States, and am currently living in the UK; home has always been fairly fluid for me; I got my BFA in Crafts: Ceramics from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, which was a state away from my parents home in Wisconsin. I have always had to adjust to new places and new people, collecting new parts of home wherever I lived. I am currently getting my Master's in Ceramics from Staffordshire University, and making a new home here in Stoke-on-Trent.

In my pursuits as a ceramic artist, I have explored many techniques and inspirations; but at the root of all my work there is a playfulness that carries through. I enjoy thinking outside the box, and bringing others along with me through my work. I find beauty in what others would consider imperfect or mistakes; I think that is what makes a piece truly unique.
